Update: NaNo Camp

Well, people, I really don't know what to say. My wrists are aching (they're LOVING this post so far), and my head is empty when it comes to words. Both things are due to the insanity that Camp is placing upon me.

But, hey, guess what the good news is.
*waits for you to guess*

The good news is that this *points excitedly to both pictures* is happening. Folks, I've never made this much progress in this short amount of time. I've sat back and watch my friends (awesome people like Emma and Katie) completely smash the stats in a number of days. I'm talking entire novel type of progress. But I've never had the time/motivation/memory skills to actually buckle down and get-er-done.

This is big stuff for me, friends. I hit the halfway mark yesterday evening. 5 April, 2016 at 8:46 pm EST. Yes, the glorious arrow moved to the middle of the 50% mark.
I kind of freaked out.

Anywhozies, progress is being made and I'm happy about it. My novel is pretty happy too.

In the past few days, I've. . .

Popped the first kiss scene
Unveiled part of the plot
Discovered word sprints (thank you, Katie!)
Participated in some of the best word wars in existence (again, thank you, Katie!)
Reached the 100 page milestone
Aaand, came to the realization that this is going to be one super long novel (I'm already at 25K and I've just now revealed part of the plot).

Well, friends, this week has been very productive so far.
Good luck with your own writing!

  3. Yay! For progress! My writing buddy has been sick so I've been mostly writing with no word wars. XD She's feeling better so I'm hoping to get some in soon. I'm currently a little behind. Oops.
